Bio John Dahlsen

John Dahlsen – Biography

John Dahlsen is an environmental artist, currently residing in Byron Bay Australia. He studied in Melbourne at the Victorian College of the Arts and did his teachers training at the Melbourne College of Advanced Education.

He won Australia’s oldest art award, the prestigious Wynne Prize, at the Art Gallery of NSW in 2000 and was again a finalist in 2003 and 2004. In 2006 he was a finalist in the Sulman Award at the Art Gallery of NSW. He has won other significant acquisitive and non-acquisitive art awards, including a mixed media/new media award at the 2003 Florence Biennial. He was also awarded the Geraldton Art Prize.

John has lectured at various universities and secondary schools both in Australia and internationally from 1980 – 2011.

Bio Stephanie Dale

Stephanie Dale – Biography

In 2004, Stephanie Dale sold everything she owned so she was free to live a creative life.

She published her first book, the acclaimed travel memoir My Pilgrim’s Heart, in 2009. A year later she published her novel, Hymn for the Wounded Man, which was awarded the US Independent Publisher Book Award for Best Fiction (Australia/NZ) 2011.

Within four weeks of its release, Stephanie had sold the first print run – 1000 copies – of  My Pilgrim’s Heart. Her marketing budget was $0.
